The next batch of books from Escalator Press is well under way. Kate Carty’s novel about Assyrian Christians in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq couldn’t be more topical, given what is happening in Iraq. And Janet Colson’s novel about art and corruption in New York continues this broad perspective. Interesting that the third novel we’re working on, by Rudy Lopez, is also set in the US, this time in the 1960s, and it’s also about art.
